Greg has been a certified Business Coach since 2007. Greg exchanges ideas with over 1,000 business coaches located in 23 countries. He specializes as a business coach in time, team, money, and mindset.
Greg holds a Bachelor of Arts in marketing from University of Northern Iowa. He is an Eagle Boy Scout and currently resides on the Raccoon River Valley Boy Scouts Membership Committee. Greg’s priorities lie in faith, family, and business.
Greg has many years of retail experience. He worked for Hy-Vee Food Stores, one of the largest retailers in the Midwest for 31 years. For 16 of those years Greg held the position of store director and managed four different locations. At the last two locations he lead 400 employees, and generated $31 million in sales annually.
After retiring from Hy-Vee, Greg purchased his own small business, a direct mail advertising circular within the greater Des Moines area. Within four years, he was able to triple the size of his business and managed three sales people. From this experience, Greg knows the day-to-day challenges of owning a business.
Greg works to help the central Iowa community. He is a member of the Urbandale Chamber of Commerce and East and South Des Moines Chamber of Commerce and facilitates exclusive groups called MOXIE (Member Owners Exchange Ideas and Experiences). In MOXIE, Greg helps business owners discuss sensitive issues in a confidential environment. Greg has been board member of the Polk County I Club which goal is to promote and grow University of Iowa Athletics. He has been a member since 2007.
